Abstract
C-13 NMR analysis demonstrated incorporation of two C-13 labelled phenylalanine units into phenylphenalenones and phenylbenzoisochromenones co-occurring in Wachendorfia thyrsiflora. These results suggest oxidative formation of phenylbenzoisochromenones
